You forgot Trinidad, Walsenburg and Pueblo to the south and Cheyenne to
the north.

I lived in the Springs for six years and graduated from high school
there. It fell off the map for me about 15 years ago. What a freak
zone. About a third of the population there is a serious blight on
Colorado in general. :-p
WRT riding, it used to be good for road. It has really sprawled *a lot*
since I left, probably still OK in the grand scheme of things though. I
didn't see my second mountain bike until after I left ('81), so I can't
comment there.
We seriously considered Ft. Collins when we moved back to the Front
Range. Nice place. I've ridden near Horsetooth Reservoir before. Good
Front Range mountain Biking IIRC. (settled in Louisville for job reasons).

We have some snow, but it's not like last year. I did a moonlight ski
last night which was really nice butt there was a bare spot or two in
the track. Very nice night, temps in the teens, and the surface hoar was
_really_ reflecting the moonlight.
I'm hoping to head to Silverton for some skiing next week if this storm
comes through. If not I might head West and actually do a little riding.

Either Colorado Springs is particularly desultory these days, or you
have really bizarre taste in women. Colorado in general is packed with
buff, outdoorsey goddesses. Try Durango or Boulder, for example.

He's blind.
I have my tongue taped to the inside of my mouth to keep it from falling
out. I ride with some very good looking and available females.
Disclaimer for Penny: I'm not interested. Really.

How can they be very hot when standing in 4' of snow? :<)

My impression is that there is a ratio of maybe 1 hottie : 6 guys in
Colorado.
Compared to say Dallas where you might see it closer to 1 hottie : 3
guys.
Other cities with lots of hot women are Austin, Atlanta, Nashville,
Boston.
You definitely don't want to live in a ski town if you're trying to
meet chicks.
The ratio there is like 1:50.
I've lived in Boulder, only for 6 months thank god.
Boulder is one of those hellhole places that everyone from out of
state thinks is THE place to live. But once you've actually lived
there you
realize how lame it really is. Yeah, there's some great road riding
close by, but
for MTB you gotta drive. Most of the open space parks are closed to
MTB's.
And sorry, I like women who don't smoke, and shave their armpits,
that's a
rare combination in Boulder.
Although, I remember a job inteview in Boulder, and the hottie I
interviewed
with wore a tight black sweater to show off her boob job. I'm sure she
did
it on purpose because of my sexy phone voice. Yes they were REALLY
nice. She could have been the poster girl for Hooters. I couldn't
stop staring
the whole interview. Needles to say I didn't get the job. It was
worth it though.
Also, just b/c a chick slings her leg over a TT doesn't mean she's hot.
Chances are she's a lesbian, or bi, on second thought, that is hot...
OK
A chick ON a bike is hot, or sexy. But whether or not the chick
herself
is hot is debatable.

Ah, ok. I get it now. Sorry I bothered, and I hope the therapy goes
well.

And Houston. Holy crap! Don't forget Houston.
The ratio doesn't bother me at all but I have to tell you I get into
conversations with divorcees all the time even though I wear my ring all
the time. Even the 35+ year olds are not bad around here.
You need to get out more.

I'll do a count at Keystone on Saturday.

She probably noticed where your eyes were focused.

Hmmm... I don't know. She would more than likely be fit and I have
this weird thing for sweaty chicks, especially when I am the same way.
