MtnBike Parts

Is there a blue book value book for pricing bike parts? How about
buying used bikes?

No. Try your fav search engine.

That's a no, too. You need to figure out what you're will to pay and then
go for it. In general, I take the current [lowest] new price and chop
that in half; If the item is in excellent cond., the ad is well done, the
seller has clear an detailed pictures, they answer any and all questions
promptly and throughly, they don't have a Hotmail email, I'm really hard
up for the part, and I have a good gut feeling about it, that's the max
I'll pay.
