blairbear_23 Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 2	Which mountain bike is the best, component-wise? My budget is from 500-700 dollars for a mountain bike of some sort to ride around town, as well as in the forest, trails, and logging roads. I have narrowed my search to the following bikes: Norco Wolverine $609, Norco Kokanee $599, Giant XTC2 $670, GT Avalanche 2.0 $549, or the Specialized Hardrock Comp $600.
