Trek mountain bike name?

So my bike was stolen and the police officers want a model number and name. Also the local bike shops can help me because if someone comes in looking for the missing parts that he broke off, they can alert me.

It's a red 26 incher from about 2000, and Mountain is in the name. Mountain Ride or something... It's a very basic model. !0 speeds, no shocks, etc. Can anyone help me with the name?
It has an aluminum frame and shimano braking. Looking at the site, the closest paint job (full red is very rare) is the Trek 3700, but it has some small white stripes where mine didn't. Also, I'm certain mine had "Mountain _____" printed on the top bar.
