powerball Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 1	Marin mountain bike problem? Bought a used Marin Larkspur Hybrid mens. There is an annoying problem that the handlebar creaks when bodyweight is applied. Seems to be coming from the stem joint as if insufficent tension appled to bolt. The bike shop had it and greased the thread to tighten it more but it still creaks. Would have thought maybe a jointing substance/gasket or washers.
