 | Mountain bike question!!?????? ( i neeeeed help! )? I just got a new mountain bike and when it says im in first gear i'm really in 4th????? ive tried putting the chain on first gear but when i get on the bike and start riding it automatticly goes back to 4th???????????????????????? how can i fix this..????

| Take it back to where you bought and have them adjust your shifter cable system. Have them explain to you the proper way of shifting and have them teach you the owners simple adjustments on the shifter system. It might be in the instruction booklet that you got with the bike. Good Luck!
