Good news from my public works department - Cycling Mob: Road Cycling, Mountain Biking and More

I live in an area of Florida which is experiencing rapid growth. So rapid
that two major roads are undergoing widening from two to four lanes at the
same time. The road I take to work was dangerous before construction, but is
downright suicidal now, so I haven't commuted to work in a year now.
Surprise, surprise---the public works department says there will be a multi
use trail the length of the new road! That will basically be a private road
for me because there are no cyclists where I live. Unfortunately, the finish
date is Dec 2006. :-(
Looks like my little town is joining the modern age!
