| | | So what to do about my bike situation... I've ridden through pain before, but right now I'm so tweaked that I don't
know if it's just the bike or the bike and my body and what the bike has
done to my body in terms of the fit. They're going to get me back onto a
58, because they put me on the 55. That's good. However, I need to decide
whether to go back to my old bike for a few days/weeks or whether to take
a rest. I hate resting. Blah!

I think going back to a 58 is a good idea. Try to duplicate the old bike as
much as possible.
I'd take some time off. I can't really imagine what you're going through
now as I've never had that kind of pain from riding. Get yourself right and
then let them refit you on the new frame. If you're hurting now, then you
won't be able to know if the new fit works. So don't rush this unless you
want to draw out the awful experience even more. | |

Why do you hate resting? Resting is a beautiful thing. Learn to rest,
it will change your life. We are all so nuts in this society we feel as
if resting is one of the seven deadly sins. I do not condone laziness,
and I am not an advocate of sitting on the couch with a beer and a bag
of cheetos, but sometimes our bodies tell us ...."REST, OR YOU WILL
PAY...AND PAY DEARLY" There is a time for everything. My vote is REST
when you are in that much pain.
