both

you may not have fixed the puncture you found properly,,,, but before you look for another,,,, part fill the tube with air,,, and submerse the repaired part under some water,,,

( fill the kitchen sink ) check for leaks,,,,,, then look for more punctures,,,,, you may even have a faulty valve

Chubby's advice is all good.

Little tip for you, don't bother with adding water to the equation.

Hold the tube to your face and feel the air escaping.

Check the patch but also on the opposite side, could be a - snake bite.

you need to take part of the tyre out that you have patched and pump it up and hold it under water

i would carefully remove the patch you put on the inner-tube taking care as to not damage the tube. Take your time in sandpapering all the old glue from the tube and make sure the whole area of the tube where the patch is to be replaced is roughed up then reapply the glue spreading it around so you get a nice film making sure the area is bigger than the patch you are going to use.wait until the film of glue is touch dry then apply a new patch then put a nice heavy weight on the patch and leave for around 15 mins before replacing the tube.

Punctures can sometimes be difficult to find and repair...you either haven`t repaired it properly or there is another tiny hole....did you immerse the tyre in water to spot the puncture bubbles? This method rarely fails.
And make sure your tyre is absolutely dry, before you attempt to put a patch on it. And rough up the area properly too.
