 | Self-powered exercise bikes? I'm trying to buy a relatively inexpensive exercise cycle (£300-ish) that I don't have to plug in to an electrical socket, but that has digital displays. Any recommendations?

| I don't know if you're in the UK but look in Argos and there's a cross trainer (same as a bike but with no seat) and for £70 it comes with a digital display. Most machines now just have a battery display linked with a wire to the machine
