Adieu Specialized?

Does Specialized Bicycle Components still make things like helmets,
shoes, tires and Other Bicycling Products?

I never see them in the stores or mail order catalogues anymore. Ahd
their helmets were the only ones that really fit my long-and-skinny
noggin.

Yes. You can find them at any shop that sells Specialized bicycles.

Specialized no longer deals with mail order catalogs. They prefer to work
directly with bike shops.

One shop I was in recently had no helmet brands other than theirs. I was
disappointed, since their helmets do not fit me at all (big and round
head, like Charlie Brown). I'm sure I*saw their brand on shoes, too, but
did not see any tires. I was in the shop, which I usually don't go to,
since 1) they had a pre-season sale on, and 2) I had a $50 gift
certificate from that shop. Sadly, I could not find anything I needed.

Yes; you can buy them directly from their web site, and probably from a
Specialized dealer.

This ought to please the owner of the LBS that gets my business; I
once asked him why he doesn't deal in Specialized stuff, and he said
that they were screwing local shops by selling mail order cheaper.
