Jersey etiquette

I have read about how people get ragged on for wearing "the" yellow jersey (TdF)
while riding, but does this extend to all yellow jerseys? What about , for
example, a Brazil national soccer team shirt or an LA Lakers jersey? What about
a plain yellow shirt? Should everyone stop wearing yellow rain jackets?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Get a grip. There is only one yellow jersey, we all know what it looks
like and only an ******* wears it without having won it.

Trolls have to ask.

You think people are born knowing this ****?

You must mean this one:

Probably these are not OK either:

It's a mine field out there, just want to be prepared to be appropriately
contemptuous.
