Nope, I am an old lady (42). I am an attorney turned personal trainer and I
work 5 am-1 pm, so I can ride a lot. The first century started out with our
regular Saturday group ride, which is a slam fest from the first 1/10th
mile. It's basically 4 of our local racing teams. At the turnaround (mile
30 or so) another guy and I went out farther to Doylestown. We then went
back to Philadelphia. I left my guy and finished up with a lap around the
Schuylkill River then home. On Sunday, a group of about 12 of us went from
Philadelphia to New Hope and back. It was a very controlled ride, and I
pulled a lot of the way home. Today, I picked up one other guy and pulled
him to Doylestown and back to his house, (50 miles) and then went down to
the river and did 4 laps before heading home, so essentially, I pulled this
one the whole way!
