The iPod's integration with iTunes in seamless, and it's a breeze to
copy songs to the iPod. It will play MP3 and AAC files. Some people
complain because it doesn't play WMA or Ogg files, but that's not an
issue for me, nor is it really an issue for most people. I've been very
happy with my iPod, especially its durability and battery life. If this
one ever dies, I'll be buying a new one the next day.

The iRock player you mentioned is a good MP3 player, but it's flash
memory based, and I need the capacity the hard drive based iPod gives me.

How about mounting your watch on the handlebars? I seem to recall there is
a device designed for that, or you could make your own.
