Re: switching from a trike to an upright?

I get on my recumbent at least three times a day on average, sometimes ten
times or so in the course of commuting to and from work, riding around the
flight line, etc. I just got back from zipping to the store and back.

What's the production?

The OP uses a tricycle--a wider and more ungainly thing than a
two-wheeled machine.

Not to mention harder to carry up stairs!

Not to mention scary in traffic, I would imagine. A 700c or 650c recument is
one thing, but a recumbent trike or lowracer are a bit low. Even with a flag
I wouldn't feel safe playing with SUVs on one.
