| | | Looking for photo of car roof rack/low garage accident... Anybody know of a photo of a bike that someone had scraped off their
car roof?
I'm a little worried that I'll make a really boneheaded move some day.
It would be so easy to come home after a ride, activate the garage
door remote, forget that the bikes are on the roof rack, and drive on
in.
I have a little system to prevent this... In the morning, when I pull
the car out and load the bikes, I hang a crude sign on the inside of
the garage door. When I return and open the door, the sign dangles
down in my path. It's prevented any accidents so far.
I'd just like to add a little whimsy to my dangling sign... If I
could find a photo of someone's bad luck, that would fit the bill.
Anybody know of a photo like this, either out on the Internet, or
available to be scanned?
Thanks,
George | |

I just got a house with a garage that has door openers (fancy
technology...). My method is to put the opener remote in the back
whenever I put a bike on top. That way I* can't open the door, much less
drive in, with a bike on the car.
