Who's running down the ex and kids? I'm just saying that "Zoot" is in no
position to judge the situation, because HE DOESN'T KNOW THE PEOPLE
INVOLVED. (Nor do any of us I assume.)

If I thought that Armstrong had "abandoned" his family or otherwise been a
jerk -- which is possible but certainly not established -- then I might
judge him a jerk, too. From what I've seen and read he loves his kids like
crazy, and has treated his former wife with respect and sensitivity. (And
very well financially, too, one can bet.)

ZK took a cheap shot, and I commented on it.

I'm not given to idolatry at the expense of candor.

That my "cheap shot" was aimed at the cherry picking hero worshippers
entirely evaded you.

You can spit or swallow now. I'm done.

Ah, but you're just as guilty of judging something without knowing the facts
first-hand as those who think LA can do no wrong. I usually lean towards
giving people -- anyone -- the benefit of the doubt, UNTIL I KNOW DIFFERENT.
(Like, in YOUR case!)

And I heard plenty about his past marital troubles during this year's
coverage, so I don't share your view of that.

Class act, Zoot. No wonder you're so bitter.
