Lance Armstrong is a very unique person. My husband has read quite a few of his books. You need to get in with a serious cycling club, take it from there.Good luck.;o)[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Id join a local cycling club and train with them - allow you to get training assistance, compete, and measure yourself against others. A good coach, good training is far better than some book, tho it can help to read those as well!

Lance's coach Chris Carmichael has a book out that you can get at your local book store. You can also get it on-line at "trainright.com". (Carmichael's website)The book has training schedules and tells how to build a good foundation to get you to the upper levels of cycling. If you don't want to read get the video's.If you go to the web site you can send them an e-mail on what your goals are. Expect to train hard and you will definitely see results.
